We work to remove barriers and create opportunities for women and girls
Zonta was first formed in 1919 in Buffelo, New York, by author and playwright Marian de Forest, best known for her work in adapting Louisa May Alcott's novel Little Women.
The THRIVE GALA for Domestic Violence Survivors is an exceptional opportunity for you to make a tangible impact and stand alongside us in supporting survivors of domestic violence.
This flagship event is jointly hosted by the Zonta Club of Perth, Perth Foundation for Women and the United Nations Association of Australia - Western Australia (UNAAWA).
The THRIVE GALA will be addressed by prominent workers in the field, by concerned community and political leaders, and by individual women who have ‘survived and thrived’ following their personal experience of domestic violence. Funds raised will be tax-deductible, and will be channelled to Zonta House Refuge (ZHRA) via the Perth Foundation for Women. Funds will be utilized by ZHRA to fund the Cultural Connections Program.
